GREIBOSOL STIC65 / GREIBOSOL EX7 is a premium sulphited fatliquor based on a combination of long-chain glycerides and higher molecular hydrocarbons, specifically developed for upholstery leather and soft clothing leather of the highest quality standards. Its carefully engineered formulation is designed for applications where outstanding softness combined with a distinctive waxy handle and excellent light fastness are the defining quality requirements.
The unique base chemistry combining long-chain glycerides with higher molecular hydrocarbons delivers a characteristic soft yet firm fibre lubrication that results in the distinctive waxy surface touch associated with premium quality soft leathers. The higher molecular hydrocarbon components contribute significantly to the product’s excellent light fastness and resistance to yellowing, making it particularly well suited for light-coloured, natural, and pastel shade leathers where colour stability over time is critical.
Both products provide very good dyeability, supporting rich, level, and uniform colour uptake across the full hide surface, making them an ideal choice for high-quality aniline and semi-aniline leathers where colour depth and uniformity are as important as softness and handle.
Both products are completely free from AOX, meeting the stringent chemical compliance requirements of the premium upholstery, automotive, and fashion garment industries, where regulatory standards and sustainability requirements are increasingly critical purchasing criteria.
GREIBOSOL STIC65 and GREIBOSOL EX7 share the same formulation basis and deliver identical performance properties. GREIBOSOL STIC65 is available at an active substance content of approximately 65%, while GREIBOSOL EX7 is available at approximately 50%, offering greater flexibility in dosing for different production requirements and preferences. Both variants can be used interchangeably; the choice between them is determined solely by the preferred concentration level and dosing practice of the individual tannery.

Both products have a shelf life of approximately one year and are not sensitive to frost. Under certain temperature conditions the products may cloud. This has no effect on product performance or application properties. Stir thoroughly before use.
