GREIBOPOL ASTI1
GREIBOPOL ASTI1 is a non-ionic antistatic agent based on a combination of ethoxylated synthetic raw materials, supplied as a whitish to yellowish liquid. It is specifically developed for the treatment of all types of leather and is resistant to surface-active substances of every charge at normal process concentrations, making it universally compatible with all standard leather processing chemicals.
GREIBOPOL ASTI1 works by adsorbing moisture from the surrounding air onto the leather surface, which increases the surface conductivity of the leather and enables static charges to dissipate effectively. This mechanism significantly reduces the static charge on treated leather surfaces, preventing the attraction and accumulation of dust and dirt that would otherwise impair the surface appearance and tactile quality of the finished leather. The improved conductivity also supports safer handling conditions in production environments where static discharge could pose a risk.
Leathers treated with GREIBOPOL ASTI1 show increased conductivity combined with a reduced static charge and improved dust removal performance, benefiting both the production process and the long-term surface quality of the finished article.
GREIBOPOL ASTI1 is readily soluble in both cold and warm water and can be applied to all types of leather by spraying or in the washing process, offering simple and flexible integration into existing production workflows.

GREIBOPOL ASTI1 is the preferred antistatic agent for all leather types wherever static charge buildup, dust attraction, and the associated impairment of surface quality and handling conditions are a concern in production or end use.
For finished leather articles in automotive upholstery, furniture, footwear, and fashion accessories, GREIBOPOL ASTI1 can be applied by spraying in the finishing stage, where it creates a uniformly conductive surface layer that prevents static charge accumulation and the associated attraction of dust and airborne particles that would compromise the clean, premium surface appearance of the finished product.
In the washing process, GREIBOPOL ASTI1 can be incorporated directly into the washing float, where its non-ionic character and universal charge compatibility ensure reliable performance alongside all other process chemicals present in the bath without risk of incompatibility or process interference.

GREIBOPOL ASTI1 has a shelf life of up to one year when stored in the original sealed packaging at temperatures between +5°C and 35°C. Should the product be exposed to frost, warm to room temperature and stir thoroughly before use.
