Degreasing agent for pelts

GREIBOPON GSE

GREIBOPON GSE is appropriate for the through and even degreasing of pelts.

 

Characteristics

Base:	Fatty alcohol, polyglycolic ethers
Appearance:	Yellowish liquid
Concentration:	Approx. 55 %
pH of a 10 %-solution:	6 - 7

 

Properties

Storage life:

Up to 1 year Not sensitive against frost,in case of freezing, warm up the product to 20 °C and homogenize by stirring, below 10 °C the product becomes turbid. The turbidity does not reduce the effectivity.

 

Stability in:

chrome tanning floats:	Not stable
salt solutions of usual concentration:	Good
Method of diluting:	GREIBOPON GSE is applied undiluted

A better degreasing effect can be achieved by adding into soaking and liming 0.2 - 0.5 % GREIBOPON GSE.
