Its ability to deliver a fluffy, uniform handle whilst maintaining excellent fibre binding makes it a versatile fatliquor for both light and medium-weight articles.
Due to its high electrolyte stability, GREIBOSOL G64 performs reliably in liquors containing elevated concentrations of neutral salts, as commonly encountered in post-chrome and retanning stages. This stability ensures that the fatliquoring effect is not compromised by the presence of electrolytes in the process bath.
The uniform distribution of fat substances achieved with GREIBOSOL G64 also has a direct positive effect on subsequent dyeing operations. Leathers fatliquored with GREIBOSOL G64 typically exhibit very level dye uptake and consistent shade development, reducing the risk of unlevel dyeing in production.
For leathers intended for dry-cleaning applications, GREIBOSOL G64 provides the necessary resistance to solvent exposure whilst retaining the desired softness and handle characteristics throughout the cleaning process.
